God is faithful so you could endure

These things happened to them as examples for us. They were written down to warn us who live at the end of the age. If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall. The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure. So, my dear friends, flee from the worship of idols. 1 Corinthians 10:11-14

The Apostle Paul reminded Christians that the reason for having the written Word of God was to help them learn from the experiences of the people of God in the past. The nature of temptations that they went through was not different from what the believers were going through in this age. How God helped them as they went through such trials so they could overcome was also made available in this present moment and until the end of the age for He is faithful. You will overcome because He already had provided provisions so you could remain strong. You have His word so you will have the wisdom to make the right choices. The Holy Spirit within you will guide you as you follow His directions and will convict you when you go on your own. Because of His love, He provided you the strength to endure as you make the right choices so you will not give in to temptations. Jesus Christ Himself in human flesh was subjected to the temptations in every way you have yet did not sin. This is why you can come to Him when you are going through the same for He understands what you are experiencing. He knows how you could make the right choices and not yield so you could choose the option He provides. “Therefore, it was necessary for him to be made in every respect like us, his brothers and sisters, so that he could be our merciful and faithful High Priest before God. Then he could offer a sacrifice that would take away the sins of the people. Since he himself has gone through suffering and testing, he is able to help us when we are being tested” (Hebrews 2:17-18).

Blessings.
