Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ

What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us. Romans 8:31-34 God is giving His followers assurance that nothing can separate them from the love of God. God loves you unconditionally that nothing will prevent Him from giving you salvation. It was obtained through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. The apostle Paul contends that if God could give His precious Son to take our place, what then will prevent Him to give you whatever was in His disposal to show that He cares? What a great privilege to know that those who yielded their lives to Christ are guaranteed that God knows them. “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me” (John 10:27). To have this kind of relationship with God will provide confidence to the ones trusting Him. God is powerful enough to show you that nothing in this world could remove you from your relationship with Him. “I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else” (John 10:28-29). Not even Satan could match the power of God! It was through the Father’s direction that you were brought to Christ. Christ values you that you are secured in His hand. When you have this assurance in life here on earth and the life to come, your response is to be faithful and follow the One that holds you in His hands.
