Real security found in God’s presence

...with everlasting love I will have compassion on you,” says the Lord, your Redeemer. “Just as I swore in the time of Noah that I would never again let a flood cover the earth, so now I swear that I will never again be angry and punish you. For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken,” says the Lord, who has mercy on you. Isaiah 54:8-10

In this world filled with discouragement, security is hard to be found. People tried everything that the world offers yet come out disappointed. True stability and real security is found alone in the One that created everything. “We look at this Son and see God’s original purpose in everything created. For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible, rank after rank after rank of angels—everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him. He was there before any of it came into existence and holds it all together right up to this moment” (Colossians 1:16-18 The Message). He created everything for a purpose. It is but proper to always go back to the reason why we are here on this earth and nothing more that will matter than to see that purpose get fulfilled by the Creator Himself. From the text, God spoke of His promise that His love will always remain. The reason why you can hold on to what He said is because of who God is; “God is love” (1 John 4:8). At one point in your life, you feel that your life is a mess. You are unsure about your relationship with God. Yet, at the point of need you surrendered your life to God. Even though you cannot imagine or understand the depth of God’s love, you trusted Him and received the new life He offered. So if you have received Christ in your life, God says, “Be strong, work, and know that I am with you” (Haggai 2:4). Do not let Satan deceived you into thinking that God is not there for you. He promised that even if you walk in the valley of the shadow of death, you are secured in Him (Psalm 23:4). Are you facing tremendous difficulties today that you think of giving up? Don’t quit, claim God’s presence and hold on to His unending love. Live His purpose for your life. “I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God” (Ephesians 3:16-19).

Blessings.
