God will supply all my needs
And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. Now all glory to God our Father forever and ever! Amen. Philippians 4:19-20 From the text, the apostle Paul expressed his belief in God that He will supply all his needs. This is also what God wants from those who placed their trust in God as Lord and Savior. Earlier in this same chapter, Paul challenged Christians in Philippi to not worry instead he urged them to pray. “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus” (vv. 6-7). God wants you to experience peace which He alone could provide. When you allow worry to prevail, your mind will be pulled in different directions. This will lead you to fear more that it will prevent you from trusting God’s promises. Always remember that God is not caught off guard whenever trials come to your life. He wants you to pray instead of becoming anxious. He wants you to place your confidence in Him over your circumstances. If you know who God is, you will be confident to do what He asks of you. There will be no shortage of things to be worried over as long as you are on this side of eternity. But as Christ follower, He wants you to live above all others. He wants you to place your confidence in Him and let His perspective regarding your circumstances be yours. When you become consistent in doing this, you will grow believing that indeed He supplies all your needs. “Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are?” (Matthew 6:26).
Blessings.
