Enduring and growing faith

For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.” “I will gather you who mourn for the appointed festivals; you will be disgraced no more. And I will deal severely with all who have oppressed you. I will save the weak and helpless ones; I will bring together those who were chased away. I will give glory and fame to my former exiles, wherever they have been mocked and shamed. On that day I will gather you together and bring you home again. Zephaniah 3:17-20

From the Book of Genesis to Revelation, the Word of God teaches that God provides the opportunity for a person to realize their need of Him so they will confess their sin and receive by faith the eternal relationship that He offers. Unlike other religions, Christianity alone offers an unalterable relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Salvation is not lost when you sin but what is affected is your fellowship with God. “Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. Oh, give me back my joy again” (Psalm 51:7-8). What He wants from you is to turn from sin and confess to God asking for His forgiveness so that once again you will be restored in your fellowship with Him. “But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness” (1 John1:9). Your weak faith and relationship with God should grow. You have to become a strong follower of Christ so you could realize the benefits and the blessings that He has prepared for His children. When a person knows that he or she is loved by God, the tendency is to reciprocate by loving others. Hurt people, because they do not feel the sense of being loved will hurt others. Start each day fellowshipping with God the Father so that your faith will grow because as you learn from Him through His word the more that you realize how much God loves you. The more you are drawn to God, the more God will use you to draw others to Him.

Blessings.
