Do not procrastinate

Let all the world look to me for salvation! For I am God; there is no other. I have sworn by my own name; I have spoken the truth, and I will never go back on my word: Every knee will bend to me, and every tongue will declare allegiance to me.” The people will declare, “The Lord is the source of all my righteousness and strength.” And all who were angry with him will come to him and be ashamed. In the Lord all the generations of Israel will be justified, and in him they will boast. Isaiah 45:22-25 NLT

From the text, Isaiah is calling on the Israelites to turn to God in order for them to be saved. And as God said, “For I am God; there is no other.” His commitment to those who will believe and follow Him is unwavering, “I have spoken the truth, and I will never go back on my word.” There are several passages from the Scripture where God’s promises will never be rendered null and void. “The Lord swore an oath to David with a promise he will never take back” (Psalm 132:11). “From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of my hand. No one can undo what I have done” (Isaiah 43:13). Don’t be infuriated against God when what we expect to happen is not happening. God is not after making our lives comfortable but His actions are geared toward accomplishing His glory. God has to be true to His nature and one of those natures is His immutability; God does not change. This is what makes God able to provide us our salvation—if we’ll have Him. And someday each one of us will bow before Jesus Christ crucified. This is God’s ultimate wonder; “Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:9–11). If you’ll trust Him enough to follow His example in the way of His cross, you will be on a journey walking with Him having the deepest joy forever. But if you remain in your doubts, hurt feelings, ruined expectations, broken dreams and persistent pride, then, this will lead to your eternal separation and regret. Do not insist by fretting and having things your own way. Bow before Him and declare your allegiance to Him. This is God’s ultimatum and He wants us to decide now before it is too late. “For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthian 6:2).

Blessings,
